| How to participate in B-Scan research... |
| |
| Organizations wishing to participate in our current B-Scan validation research can do so by becoming a "data-collection" site. Participation is voluntary and confidential. Individual scores will never be revealed, and the name of your organization as well as participants' names will not be collected. |
| |
| Process: |
- Step 1: Identify an organization member to be your point-person through the process. This person should have the authority to handle confidential information, plus the attention to detail necessary for accurate data collection.
|
- Step 2: Your contact person will work with an MHS Data Collection Department specialist assigned to your organization to coordinate the distribution and retrieval of B-Scan paper instruments (Self-Report and Supervisor versions) and ID numbers (in lieu of names), or passwords and ID numbers for online administration. They will also agree to a timetable for the project -- typically up to three weeks from start to finish.
|
- Step 3: Once all of the data is collected, the MHS R&D Department will combine your (anonymous) data with those of other participating companies; this growing database will be used to validate the B-Scan items and scales, and determine norms.
|
- Step 4: At the completion of the project, you will receive either a global report of your organization's scores (note: the total number of participants will determine whether this is possible), or credit toward the purchase of B-Scan (or any other Multi-Health Systems, Inc.) products. This will be discussed and agreed upon at the onset of the project.
